Great location and free wi-fi, but outdated rooms and lack of maintenance.
-
Phil
Reasonably spacious rooms provided with a perfect view, a couch, for instance. Free breakfast with a waffle maker and the other portion, for instance - well worth the money...

Julian
Wanted to explore Deadwood and this hotel was excellent base for doing it. I loved configuration of the a double room.

excellent breakfast, excellent cuisine. cozy bar in the basement. overall, the house is highly recommended. felt comfortable
nothing, the amount of slot machines on the ground floor can be ignored. Here in town these are part of it

Ronald
I couldn’t believe how rundown the room was! The musty smell hit me right away, and the cracked plaster and peeling paint made it feel like I was in a poorly maintained old house. Definitely not worth the price!

grounds were kept fairly clean, breakfast was top class. the queen room with 1 double bed had all necessary amenities. the location was great - just next door to other properties in deadwood. we had a memorable stay at this authentic hotel.

in the hotel you feel like you are back in time to around 1900, at a price below that of a motel. the lobby with the gambling machine is worth seeing. room, especially the bathroom was already aging, so one should not expect too much.
had got a room right next to the ventilation/air-conditioning of the neighboring house, came on every 5 minutes. people with light sleep would probably not have slept a wink.

Tony
fantastic location with super friendly staff but room issues need attention
excellent location, friendly staff, great restaurant
